Our courtyard is looking beautifully refreshed thanks to the hard work of the St. Kenneth Men’s Club!

On Saturday, June 6, members generously volunteered their time to beautify our sacred grounds by removing diseased shrubs around the fountain, cutting the courtyard grass, and laying down fresh mulch. We are deeply grateful for their hard work, stewardship, and community spirit in helping to keep St. Paul of the Cross a peaceful sanctuary for all who visit.

Community Partner Event: Assembly for Hope

Strangers No Longer (SNL) invites community members to attend its Assembly for Hope: Building a Welcoming Michigan on Monday, June 29, from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at 11687 American St, Detroit, MI.

The gathering will focus on immigration advocacy, civic engagement, and strategies for building welcoming communities across Michigan.

Supporting Our Migration Coalition Partners

Continuing our walk with the crucified, St. Paul’s is collecting donations for our Migration Coalition partners. Strangers No Longer (SNL) is a Catholic, community-based network dedicated to promoting justice, compassion, and human dignity for immigrants and their families.

Strangers No Longer needs:

  • Gift cards (Meijer, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, gas cards, etc.)
  • Small bags of rice
  • Small containers of vegetable oil
  • Small bags of raw beans (pinto, black) – While canned beans might seem more convenient, SNL emphasizes tha many migrants are unfamiliar with canned foods and prefer to cook with raw beans!

Thank you for supporting this initiative and for living out the Passionist charism as we walk with the crucified!
