Giving Way to Joy and Peace

Lord, forgive my lack of faith. I look around and see all the misfortune and suffering in my lives and the lives of others and I become discouraged and pessimistic. I wonder how a loving God can allow such devastation. But I know that all things are possible with you. I know that you can turn even the worst tragedy into blessings. Deepen my trust in your divine Will that pain and suffering can give way to joy and peace.
