Finding Purpose in Trials

Dear Lord, forgive me for wanting an easier life. Sometimes I don’t think I can handle one more trial that comes into my life. It seems that I spend much of my time feeling sorry for myself and all my sufferings. I know that each of us has our own crosses to bear in life. Please give me the strength to face the obstacles in my life with courage and dignity. Help me to keep my focus on moving forward and not dwelling on these sufferings. Help me to see the wisdom in your plan and the purpose in my pain.
