Routines and rituals provide us with opportunities to go deeper into the meaning of that routine or ritual.

Routines and rituals provide us with opportunities to go deeper into the meaning of that routine or ritual.

It remains simple…a gathering of family and friends around an abundant table that represents the generosity of the Earth and of God.

Imagine if all that is holy to us, all that we have been trained in, all that seems to give our life meaning and purpose is upturned by Jesus.

The Passion of Christ compels us to love. But first we need to listen to the cries of the poor. We have to hear them, even when it make us uncomfortable.

There is but one voice that Jesus listens to, often in quiet solitude. That true voice speaks to him, “You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites."

To love comes before to serve. Love is the foundation of selfless service. If we love, we will be drawn to serve others. If we are rooted in God's love, so too will we be rooted in service.
