As a present-day disciple, I want God to increase my faith. But that means it’s up to me to open doors, take down walls and barriers, and tap into the ever-present love of the God who longs for me.

We, the Church, the Holy gathered People of God, the dying and rising, cross carrying and Easter Candle holding high people, we are always alive and new as we receive this living Word of God.

God desires that we come to know God, to love God, and to serve God in this world so that at the end of our lives here on earth, we will abide in the joyful eternal presence of God. 

We have all been created by a God of Love.

We are called to notice where and when a merciful God is present in our lives.

If we begin and end with love, we are assured that we have covered all of our obligations.

We are personally invited by Jesus to regularly share at the table of the Eucharist and to lives of service to those in special need. 

In today’s gospel, Jesus encourages us to exercise such generosity. In such ways, the reign of God is made manifest. 

All Souls Day is traditionally the third day of All Hallowtide—right after Halloween and All Saints’ Day.

On this feast of All Saints, we lift our eyes to heaven — not just to remember the formally canonized saints, but to recognize the countless faithful who have reflected God’s light in quiet, hidden ways.
