Childlike Faith and Humility

Dear Jesus, I often forget that you entered the world as I did—as an innocent child. Let the humility of your human existence always serve as a model for me. Even as you hung on the Cross, you spoke to your Father as his loving and devoted Son. As we grow older, we are taught to abandon the innocent outlook of youth. But you have always told your followers to become like children. Let me never be so proud that I cannot come to you with full abandon. Let me always do as the Father wills, trusting in his love and wisdom for my salvation.
