Courage to Keep Serving

Dear Lord, I am constantly aware of my lack of virtues.  I feel as if my flaws and imperfections multiply even as I work to improve these defects in my character.  It seems like all around me I can see the virtue in others that I can’t seem to attain. I even foolishly try to hide from you, hoping I can somehow conceal my failings.  I don’t want to hide from you anymore.  Teach me to trust in you, your love and your mercy.
