Embracing the Cross

Sweet Lord, I want so much to push all hurts away from me. But suffering is a part of life, a reality you know only too well having carried your Cross to Calvary. You never ran away, from your own suffering or the suffering of others. You responded with love. Help me, Jesus, to also respond with love and faith in you.
