Finding Courage in Trials

Dear God, the truth is, I am afraid I will let you down when faced with life’s most trying experiences.  I doubt my strength, my faith, my abilities and my resolve.  I believe in your word when you tell us that trials are necessary.  But, I am human.  I am so fearful of what suffering I will be called to.  Lord, lift this fear from me.  Give me your strength.  Let the Holy Spirit be my guide.
