Finding Joy in God’s Games of Love

Lord, I want to share fully in your suffering.  But with that, I want to share in your joy as well.  I know that suffering and death were not a part of your plan for humanity.  Help me to remember that happiness is not a sin and that it brings you pleasure to see your children appreciate the joys in life.  Give me the grace to find humor and happiness this New Year.
