Finding Peace Amid Trials

Dear Lord, grant me true inner peace so that I can endure whatever comes my way. Sometimes I forget that the way to ease my suffering and find lasting calm is to go to you. Instead I continue to seek comfort in the opinions of others. Even when I am struggling, let my heart be at peace knowing that I am always in your care.
