Finding You in the Midst of Trials

Lord, let my trials bring me closer to union with you.  When I am in the midst of suffering, I often lose my way.  Help me to remember that I need not search for you—that you dwell in my heart always.  Lord, give me the grace to see your compassion and mercy even in the worst of my earthly pain.  Let me trust in the wisdom of your Will and find peace in your love for me.
