Following the Holy Spirit in Prayer

Lord, I know that I am sometimes not very motivated in my prayer life. I donʼt always listen for you to lead. Help me to be open and honest with you. Let me come to you with true abandon. Remind me that prayer is much more than asking you for favors. It is thanking you and praising you and coming to you when I am not only lonely and discouraged but happy and thankful. May the Holy Spirit be my guide.
