Loving the Difficult Neighbor

Lord, I know that you have asked us to love our neighbors—but sometimes I wonder if we have to like our neighbors as well. Help me to be kind and patient with those who I may not immediately understand or warm to.  Let me remember that each of us have been made in the image and likeness of God. Even though sometimes it may be challenging to find you in others, may I always look upon my neighbors with compassion and love.
