Trusting God in Others’ Suffering

Dear Lord, I am so often troubled by my inability to help those I love so dearly. Sometimes I think I know so keenly what is best for my friends and family. Forgive my arrogance in thinking that I could have more insight and understanding than you. It is often overwhelming to watch those I care about suffer and know that I am powerless to change their circumstances. Teach me to remember that I can always help with the gifts of my love and prayer. Let me give my fear over to you and trust that your Will is all good.
