Trusting in Forgiveness

 Lord, I continuously look to you for reassurance that my past sins have been forgiven.  I believe wholly in the sacrament of reconciliation, but I wonder how all the mistakes of my lifetime could not only be forgiven, but forgotten.  Teach me to trust in the power of your mercy. Let me learn to put my faith in the greatness of your love for me, and let me always remember that I will know in my heart when I  have offended you.
