Wonder at the Incarnation

Dear Lord, when I pray, I seem to think only about myself and what I need from you. I spend so little time contemplating the wonder of you, your sacrifice and the immense love you have for me. Teach me to meditate on the miracle of your humanity. Help me to remember we share a deep connection in that you understand the temptations and failings of human existence. Let me have the courage to face my own nothingness so that I can truly know you.
