Celebrate National Vocation Awareness Week with the Passionists

From November 2–8, 2025, the Passionists invite everyone to pray, learn and reflect on God’s call in their lives, exploring how the Passionist charism continues to inspire vocations and community in today’s world.

By virtue of our Baptism, each of us receives a special calling from God to a particular style of life that builds upon our God-given talents, praises God and contributes to the betterment of the world. Classically, three vocational life-styles are recognized: married life, single life and priestly/religious life.

As Passionists, we are blessed with the Passionist charism, based on the life of our Holy Founder, St. Paul of the Cross. We Passionists live and proclaim God’s love powerfully witnessed in the sufferings and death of Jesus. This charism, or spirit, underlies and motivates our Passionist communities and our ministries.

We invite you to enter into the spirit of this special time of prayer, education and outreach to learn about and be inspired by Passionist life and ministry.

See how your heart is moved. Perhaps it is your own vocation. Perhaps it is someone you know.

National Vocation Awareness Week is about vocation education, prayer and promotion, and you are important in all three! I would love to journey with you in promoting Passionist Vocation Awareness, the Passionist Way.

Please contact me through the form below if you have any questions or would like additional information.

In this graced time, please join in one of the vocation prayer written by my late brother Passionist, Fr. Randal Joyce, CP:

May God bless us as “Pilgrims of Hope along the Passionist Way” in this 2025 Jubilee Year!
