A Prayer for Mental Health

Loving Jesus,
in your Passion, you reveal a love
that does not turn away from suffering.

Be near to all who live with mental illness.
May they find compassionate care,
understanding and hope.

Teach us to stand beside one another
at the foot of the Cross,
even when we do not have answers.
Help us listen without judgment
and welcome those who feel alone.

Bless those who provide treatment,
support and companionship.
Guide your Church to overcome stigma
and become a place of belonging.

May no one be left
to carry their cross alone.
