Hope in Eternal Life

Lord, teach me to deal with death with courage and peace and acceptance. Let me be a comfort to those I love dealing with such loss. Let me be an example of true compassion. Often, in a world filled with suffering and death, I find myself dwelling on morbid thoughts of death as an end to life. Help me to always remember that your sacrifice changed the very nature of death and made it not a conclusion, but a beginning of eternal life.
