Living in the present moment

Dear Lord, I seem to look for you in the past and the future and often forget about the present. I look back at past mistakes and wonder why I didn’t have greater faith. I look towards the future and worry about whether I will be able to find you. And yet, here I am in the present moment, and I feel lost. Forgive me for this. Help me to remember that you are always here with me. Remind me that all I have is this moment, right now. And whether I find myself in the midst of happiness and joy or pain and suffering, let me remember that I am never alone, that you are with me always.
