Becoming Holy in My Own State of Life

Lord, I am always looking outside myself to those around me in ways that make me dissatisfied with my life. It often seems like I could be somehow living a better, happier, holier life if only I had some other job, or more money, more time, or more solitude. Please come into my heart when I struggle with these thoughts. Help me to live out my Christian values in the current station of my life without looking towards an unrealistic or extraordinary change in who I am. Help me to find you in the ordinary course of my day. Let me find peace in the stillness of my life.
