Resting in God’s Hand

Dear God, when things go well I want to take full credit for it and when they go badly, I want to make it someone else’s fault. Let me live today with simple gratitude for all that you have given me, dwelling neither on what I judge to be great success or fear to be terrible failure. Let me rest humbly and peacefully in the palm of your gracious hand.
