Victory over Temptation by Grace

Lord, I fear my own weaknesses. I am bombarded with temptations great and small in all aspects of my day—temptations that seem like easy answers to the difficulties of my day but that I know will lead me away from you. I know that temptations are a part of this life’s journey. I tend to look only to myself in facing these difficult choices and often, my strength fails me. Help me to put my full faith and trust in you to keep my inner peace in the face of such challenges. Let me remember that there is no temptation that I cannot resist with your grace.
