We are celebrating Catholic Schools Week by highlighting our Passionist schools, including Holy Family Catholic Academy, Holy Family Cristo Rey Catholic High School and Catholic Theological Union.

Growing up near Birmingham during the Civil Rights Movement, Carmelita Poindexter witnessed courage and sacrifice up close and learned through her family’s faith-filled example to choose resilience and peaceful advocacy over fear and anger.

We honor and pray for the dedicated teachers, staff and mentors who carry out the call of education with heart, vision and faith during the Jubilee of Educators.
