Jesus’ Sacred Heart is full of love for us. May His love fill our hearts and overflow into the world.

It might be comforting to read that the Jerusalem leadership sent Barnabas to Antioch to encourage and validate the new and exciting expansion of the Jesus movement there.

Just as Jesus did, we need to balance the necessity and value of rightful laws and authority with the equal necessity for compassion, acceptance, and love.

We are invited to transform the world by throwing light where there is shadow and sharing the nourishment that Christ gives.

"Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth,” promises that God will provide for all our real needs.

“I am the living bread…”

Jesus is calling us to expose systems of economics and government that hurt our brothers and sisters.

We are spirit driven people who see the presence of the resurrected Christ in our lives and bear witness to the reality of the resurrection.

May our needy world be changed by our whole-hearted love as it flows from Jesus through the lives of each of us.

Hospitality and welcome were deep values in his culture, and it’s at the heart of the kingdom of heaven, too. He will welcome us into eternal life with the same care and hospitality.
