Peace in suffering

Lord, I think about your suffering on the Cross. I want to share in your Passion and yet, I can barely endure the small penances of everyday life. Sometimes I intend so genuinely to make greater sacrifices and offer these up to you. But I often fail to follow through. Forgive me for my weakness. Grant me the blessing of true inner peace that I might face any challenge with calm and acceptance. Give me faith in your Divine Will so all my sufferings bring me ever closer to you.
