Trusting the Great Pilot

Lord, even though I am your faithful disciple, I often let my fears get the best of me.  In times of trouble, I feel scared and alone.  When the waters start to get rough, I may forget that you are always steering the ship.  Forgive me for my insecurities and weaknesses.  Deepen my trust in the divine wisdom of your holy will.  Remind me that I am never alone, and that in times of suffering, you will never leave me in want of your love, your mercy or yourself.
