Serve an exclusively low-income population; families cannot make more than 185% of the poverty line.

Cost of tuition: $9,760

Average family contribution (based on income and family size): $800

371 total graduates, 52 in Class of 2017.

HFCR students persist in college at a rate five and a half times greater than that of their peers.

Offer engaging course options, including honors and Advanced Placement classes, African American History, Spanish for Heritage Speakers, and Speech & Debate.

All students required to complete 40 hours of community service in order to graduate

Every student participates in the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) five days a month.

A full-time, four student team works more than 165 days each year.

Academics schedules are structured so that students do not miss class in order to work.

Participation in the CWSP allows students to financially contribute to their own tuition, giving them pride and a sense of ownership in their education.

88% African American, 12% Hispanic/Latino.

57% female, 43% male.

100% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch.

Average household size is 3.8, with an average household income of $29,462.

Come from an 18 mile radius of the school.

92% are non-Catholic.

86 students participated in summer enrichment programs, at little or no cost to their families, during the summer of 2017.
