We are happy to share with you the video showing the removal of the old pillar and the installation of the new pillar at Sacred Heart Monastery in Louisville.
You can scroll down to see the first video showing the damage to the original pillar.
Sacred Heart Monastery has been our home in Louisville, Kentucky for over 106 years. Recently, we learned that the southernmost pillar on the front portico has rotted through and is in danger of collapsing.
The cost of replacing the pre-Civil War pillar is $33,000. To date, we have raised $23,000. We are so very grateful for the outpouring of support we have received so far.
Please help us in our final stretch to raise the remaining $10,000! Your tax deductible gift, no matter its size, will help us secure the structure of our monastery and the safety of our residents.
You can also support our efforts by sharing this campaign and spreading the word!
Thank you and “May the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our Hearts!”
