Dear Friend of the Passionists,
One of the challenges of modern life is encouraging life-giving relationships with the people God has brought our way.
We are especially blessed with family and friends, as well as those we casually encounter on special occasions. In pondering the Gospels, we see Jesus lovingly respond to people, sharing an encouraging word, a healing touch or a sympathetic ear.
Jesus invites us to follow His example and reach out in love to those around us. Today, we can make a phone call, meet in person for coffee, send them a digital message or – one of my favorites – send them a special card.
We Passionists offer to join you in lovingly reaching out to the people in your life. We have created a selection of five quality cards that you are invited to use in communicating with others – for birthdays, for healing, to express gratitude or to share sympathy. Each card carries with it the promise of your prayer and that of the Passionist Community for the person mentioned. You can also add your special hand-written note.
As you use the cards, please send us the names of those you want remembered in our prayer. We kindly ask your support of our Passionist life and ministries by making a donation. Together, you and we proclaim Jesus Crucified’s unconditional love for every person.
I call upon God’s special blessing for you and yours, asking your prayerful support as we remember you in our daily Masses and prayers. Together we share God’s blessings in today’s world!
