A Passionist Prayer
January 21, 2020
from St. Paul of the Cross
"Your ship is at sea without sails and without oars. Nevertheless, it is guided by the great Pilot who will certainly bring you to a secure port. It is battered by storms and winds so that the Power and Wisdom of that great Pilot will shine forth for you."
Lord, even though I am your faithful disciple, I often let my fears get the best of me. In times of trouble, I feel scared and alone. When the waters start to get rough, I may forget that you are always steering the ship. Forgive me for my insecurities and weaknesses. Deepen my trust in the divine wisdom of your holy will. Remind me that I am never alone, and that in times of suffering, you will never leave me in want of your love, your mercy or yourself.
