“God’s Kingdom is the place of abundance where every generous act overflows its original bounds and becomes part of the unbounded grace of God at work in the world.”
–Henri Nouwen
It’s important for me to support the Passionists because: Retreating to a place of solitude and contemplation are also very important to me. St. Paul’s has certainly provided this for me. It’s important to me that other people have access to this resource too. ~J. Bodary
The Passionists have touched my life or the lives of my family and friends through: My first experience with the Passionists was through a retreat with my father when I was in my early twenties. After attending annual retreats for several years I was asked to join the building committee in the early to mid 90’s. From there my experience with the Passionists grew as I joined the early advisory board, the finance committee, the legal lay board, the Province Retreat Center Board and the Office of Mission Effectiveness. ~J. Bodary
It’s important for me to support the Passionists because: they have always been the center of our family and been there when we needed them the most – since 1910 when the monastery was first built. My foundation with the Passionists started with my grandmother, Mary Daniels, who would house the families of seminarians when they would come to visit. They are a big part of my prayer life. They always accept people for where they are at in life. ~K. Schmitt, TN
The Passionists have touched my life or the lives of my family and friends through: being there during tragic times. When my brother passed away at the age of 16 and my parents passed away later on, and anytime there was suffering, they were there to comfort me and support me in my times of sorrow. I pray for each one of them daily and God Bless all the work they do and the lives they touch. ~K. Schmitt, TN
It is important for me to support the Passionists because…
The Passion of Christ has always given me meaning and comfort when suffering gets bad. It’s the cross that I look at, wondering why Christ had to die for us, and then thinking of how he puts all of our suffering in perspective. I support the Passionists so that others may find meaning in the Cross. ~M. Kiraly
The Passionists have touched my life or the lives of my family and friends through…
My husband and I prayed together in front of the Cross often, particularly when he was suffering before he passed away. I pray in front of the Cross often now, contemplating the joy of seeing Christ and my husband face-to-face someday. ~M. Kiraly
