Prayer is the means by which we encounter the living God, who is the source and fulfillment of our heart’s deepest desires. The expression of our prayers takes many forms: blessing and adoration, petition, intercession, thanksgiving and praise.
As Passionists, we invoke every form of prayer to assist us in deepening, a rich prayer life. However, we experience and express our deepest desires in community. We come together in community to pray with and for those who have requested our prayers, as well as the wider world.
At the heart of our prayer is the Crucified Christ. Prayerful contemplation on Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection enables us to bring the fruit of that contemplation to those who are Christ Crucified in today’s world by standing in solidarity with those who suffer.
